Can I check in early or check out late?
For a small fee you are welcome to check in from 11am or out from 2 pm, subject to availability. Don’t worry, if we can’t accommodate your request you won’t be charged.
Can I request a high floor view room?
Yes, advise your request at the time of booking, and we will do our best to provide (subject to availability).
Can I request a walk-in shower or bathtub?
Deluxe Guest Rooms and Junior Suites offer walk-in showers. Book a Balcony or Junior Suite to guarantee a bathtub.
Can someone else check in for me?
No, you are required to be present on check in and complete the registration paperwork.
Do I need to book Lamberts or Eagles Nest Brisbane
Yes, both Lamberts and Eagles Nest Brisbane fill up quickly. Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Do the windows in the rooms open?
For the safety and security of all guests windows are locked at all times. Balcony Suites all have private balconies should you want some fresh air.
Do you have smoking rooms?
All guest rooms, public areas, restaurants / bars and meeting facilities at The Point Brisbane Hotel are 100% non-smoking. A cleaning fee is applicable if evidence of smoking is found in your room.
Smoking areas are available, please ask Guest Services for details if you require.
How can I connect to the wireless internet?
Ensure your wireless adaptor is enabled, Search for ‘The Point Brisbane Guest’ network and select connect. No password is required.
How does the shuttle service work?
Our complimentary hotel shuttle will drop you at the ferry stop in time for the next service and pick you up on your return.
The ferry service runs every 30 minutes between 6am and midnight, seven days a week.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated year round for your comfort.

What are the car parking arrangements?
Parking is available at a fee. Please speak with Guest Services upon arrival to arrange.

What do I need to check in?
To ensure a smooth check in you will require valid photo ID and a credit or debit card matching the name on your reservation.
A pre-authorisation will be taken to cover your stay and incidentals. Funds are released back into your account within 5-7 days. If you require these funds sooner, please speak with Guest Services on departure.
We do not accept cash as a form of deposit.
What’s the best way to get to and from the airport?
Other than a Taxi or Uber, we recommend Con-x-ions as they offer a door to door service.
When is Eagles Nest Brisbane open?
Eagles Nest Brisbane is open from 3pm Thursday to Sunday afternoons.
The space can also be booked for exclusive use functions, with its spectacular rooftop views providing the ideal setting for both corporate and private events. Reservations are strongly recommended 1800 088 388.

Emergency Procedures for Guests.
At The Point Brisbane Hotel, your safety is a top priority. We want to ensure that you are well-informed about the emergency procedures to provide you with a secure and comfortable stay. Please familiarise yourself with the following guidelines.
In Case of Fire or Emergency:
1. Stay Calm:
In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and follow the instructions provided below.
2. Firefighting Equipment:
Each level of the hotel is equipped with firefighting equipment. If you discover a fire, locate the nearest fire extinguisher or fire hose reel. Follow the instructions on the equipment to address the situation safely.
3. Alarms:
The alarm system has two phases. The initial phase is a general alarm, indicated by a bell. After approximately 4-5 minutes, the alarm will shift to an evacuation alarm with a distinctive "whoop, whoop" sound. Please familiarise yourself with these alarm signals.
The alarm system will initiate a cascading sequence, beginning on the affected floor and subsequently extending to the floor above and below. This cascade will continue until the entire building is under the alarm.
4. Evacuation:
If evacuation is necessary, please proceed to the nearest exit calmly and quickly. Do not use elevators during an evacuation. Assemble directly opposite the front of the hotel on Lambert Street.

5. Assembly Area:
The designated assembly area is on Lambert Street. Our team will be present to assist and ensure an accurate record of everyone present.
Important Reminders:
Follow the instructions of our staff and emergency personnel.
Do not re-enter the building until the "all clear" is given.
Remain calm and assist others if possible.
If you have any mobility issues, please inform our staff during check-in so that we can provide the necessary assistance during emergencies.
